The list of the top 10 most anticipated films of 2018 is dominated by the first four entries in the best picture category: “Fences,” “Manchester By The Sea,” “Star Wars: The Last Jedi,” and “Zootopia.”
“Manchester by the Sea” and “Star of Tomorrow” aren’t in the top five, but “Fence” and the upcoming sequel to “The Shape of Water” are in the discussion.
The other two films are among the top three in the Best Picture category: The Good Dinosaur and “The Martian.”
For the third year in a row, the top-grossing film of the year will be “The Birth of a Nation,” which will take the No. 2 spot.
That title belongs to “Citizenfour,” the biopic of the Confederate general and civil rights icon Robert E. Lee.
The film will be released in cinemas worldwide on January 8.
“The Birth Of a Nation” opens in 2D and 3D, while “The Blacklist” is also available on home video.
